On the morning of the SuperBowl Einhorn is holding Marino at a boathouse and tries to pin everything on Ace but again with his girlfriend's assistance Ace manages to make his case to the police and prove that Einhorn is guilty. He later realizes that Einhorn is in fact Finkle who has undergone a sex change. With the help of his new girlfriend Ace goes to the mental hospital where Finkle was staying and finds evidence that makes him realize that there is a connection between Finkle and detective Einhorn. Ace goes to police detective Einhorn to explain his theory and tell her that Finkle must also be the one behind the murder. Ace races back to Miami but not before Marino is kidnapped. Finkle's next target is revealed to be Dan Marino whom Finkle blames for the missed kick. He finds that Finkle went completely insane after the missed SuperBowl kick and was institutionalized but later escaped. Ace now has his prime suspect and drives off to Finkle's hometown to find him. Ace makes a break in the case when he finds another picture of the Dolphins from the year of the championship, this time including a mystery player, who it turns out was at fault for the Dolphins losing the SuperBowl that year (Finkle).

Later a murder linked to the Dolphins occurs which Ace proves was not a suicide. He investigates all of the men in the picture of the championship but finds nothing. Ace now has a list of suspects to track down.

Ace escapes but as he is leaving the billionaire's home he realizes that the diamond he found in Snowflakes's tank belonged to an AFC Championship Ring won by the Miami Dolphins. He then follows some leads to the home of a billionaire he suspects of stealing Snowflake however the large tank he thought houses Snowflake in fact housed a large shark.

Ace has some trouble with the local police who are not very interested in finding Snowflake and who do not respect Ace. Ace finds a small diamond in Snowflake's tank. In the beginning of this movie, Ace Venture gets called in to investigate the theft of Miami Dolphins' mascot, Snowflake just before the SuperBowl. This movie is about a zany detective trying to bring back a stolen dolphin.
